What Is Up With Gemstone Healing Energy People?

I'm not quite sure what gemstone healing energy is all about, but it seems like there are a lot of people who are into it. I've seen people wearing all kinds of crystals and stones around their necks, and I've even seen people sleeping with them next to their pillow. I'm not sure if it's all just a fad, or if there's something to it. But I'm curious to know what other people think. Do you believe in gemstone healing energy? Have you ever tried it?

I'm not sure what it is, but there's something about gemstone healing energy that just screams "new age-y." I don't mean to judgmental, but it's hard not to be a little skeptical when people start talking about the "healing power of crystals."

I will admit, I'm not entirely sure how gemstone healing works. The idea that stones can somehow absorb and store energy and then release it back into the body seems a bit far-fetched. And yet, there are some people who swear by it.
