What Does The Bible Say About Energy Healing?

The Bible is full of references to the power of prayer and the benefits of seeking divine guidance and healing. However, there are few specific references to energy healing. One notable exception is in the book of Acts, when Peter heals a lame man through the laying on of hands (Acts 3:1-11). This story provides a clear example of the power of God to heal through the human body. While there are no other explicit references to energy healing in the Bible, there are many passages that speak to the importance of caring for our bodies and minds. For example, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." This verse makes it clear that our bodies are not our own, but rather they belong to God. As such, we should take care of them and use them to glorify Him.In addition, Philippians 4:8 tells us to think on "whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable." This suggests that we should focus our thoughts on positive things that will help us lead healthy, happy lives. When we do this, we open ourselves up to God's grace and peace (verse 7).Ultimately, whether or not energy healing is something that is specifically addressed in the Bible, we see that taking care of our bodies and minds is a priority for Christians. Energy healing may be one way to do this, and it is certainly worth exploring if you are interested in pursuing it.
